Ok ok. I know it's been a while, but I've been busy. I've recently changed schools and and I get TONS more homework here than at Pimmy :(

Plus I've been lagged with my artwork. But I've also improved! Hopefully I'll get off my bum and post some stuff...eventually...after homework...and assignments...and youtubing...AND TOKIO HOTEL!!!!! :D Lol joking...but they are an awesome band ;) No stealing the Kaulitz's, mine. >)

Aside from that everything's normal...boring, stressful, tiring...and AGONISING! I'm such a klutz and with three HPE lessons a week (more than two I was used to) I hurt myself alot. Even not in sport. Last Thursday I tripped UNDER the stairs and skinned both my knees as well as hurting my shoulder which I couldn't move for the whole weekend!

I'm hoping to get my current assignment done before I do any major posting, and I'll hopefully update my layout/banner/avvie soonish. Maybz some Bumblebee love...Who knows ;)

Okay...this is probably one of the more boring posts...but meh, who really cares?

Anyway, I was doing my usual thing; browsing the 'net while trying to decide on a new desktop wallpaper, when my mum came in and said that nana was on the phone...and she wanted me. My first thought were 'Oh dear...what did I do? Did I accidentally send them an email I was meant to send one of my friends? Did I do something else??? Oh crap!'

I shouldn't have worried though. It turned out she wanted to tell my how cool my blog was! And I only thought my besties read my blog...How did she even find out about it???? I don't know...

It was really cool though. Apparently she was 'very impressed' with it, my art, the layout, banners, everything really...even the way I wrote the entries! That's just weird...yet so cool.

It's actually slightly freaky....

ps: when I say 'I'll update tomorrow' I usually mean 'I'll update whenever I actually remember. Haha! I'm such a lazy butt.

pps: will hope to post some new stuff this month though, no promises.

New Layout!!! Yay!!!

I've finally updated my layout to something a little snazzy. I found the background on Photobucket. I just thought it looked better than the other one I had found, plus I actually made this one! Yay!

Have lots of things to blog about but will have to stop. So I'll post some more stuff tomorrow. BAI!

Palleranda Excursion:: Part 1

Last YEAR on a Thursday a few weeks into the last term, my Social Science class teamed up with Class J and visited the historical site of Cape Palleranda, just north of Townsville. It was a pretty exhilarating, lots of walking in the hot North Queensland sun, lots of sitting on hot concrete and taking notes in the sun, and of course; lots more walking.

We went there to visit the quarantine station. It was originally built on Magnetic Island but they transferred it to Cape Palleranda in the early 1900's. During World War II the quarantine station served as a base for the troops that were sent to watch out for the Japanese. Of course the command post and the smaller one lower on the mountain were only made to spot incoming ships, not planes. There were no sightings but Townsville was bombed twice. Both times the Japanese missed and the bombs landed in the water, but some landed in forested areas around Palleranda, at least no one was hurt. Or killed.

It was an overall cool experience, but I suffered from heat exhaustion till we got to play in the ocean. YAY! I've been meaning to post this for ages but I've never gotten around to doing that. I have photos and what not but they STILL aren't developed!!! only the ones my friends took are, and they're just of people. I'll show you these for now and when the others are developed I'll upload them and give you a FULL overview of that weird day. More details in further posts.

New Story preview

Okay, just a quickie. I'm currently working on a short fanfic on request of a friend who is a HUUUUUUGE Nick Jonas fan. She wanted me to write a romance story about him and some girl that represented her so I have. It's called 'Just Wait'. I'm quite proud of it actually. I'd really like it if you read it. And if you do, post a review. You don't have to have an account, just type a name and voila! It only has the first chapter uploaded so far, but I'm working on it. Most of it has been already written. And yeah, I made the banner. It's the best I've ever done. YAYZ!

Here's the summary...

"When you're a teenager, you have a lot of expectations for where your life is headed, and what will happen. Some things come unexpectedly. School is Finally OVER

Today is OFFICIALLY the end of school year, and therefore the start of the summer/Christmas holidays!!!! YAYZ!!! I was starting to think it would never end!!!

Anyway, I have a few things planned for the holidays...mainly sitting in front of the computer and practising my graphics stuff...but tomorrow I will be shopping and seeing Twilight the movie!!!! YAY! Then sometime soon I'll be seeing Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. But the rest...meh...

I am now teaching myself to play the Piano and am starting with Paramore's Decode. Yeah...big leap eh? But I want to try it, and it'll be fun C:. Of course...I only play by ear.

I finally got my act together and fiddled with graphics for a banner. I think I did well for a first try. It's based off the style of a wallpaper I made a few days ago (which I will upload in my art dump post)

Yeah I've seen the first two episodes. We actually a British friend taped them and sent them to me, but I've seen them.

I saw the first series earlier this year and loved it and I've been wanting to do some 'proper' fanart for a while so I drew the main characters from SJA. BUT MARIA MOVES TO AMERICA!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!! That ruined my chances for her and Luke to get together...but it came close!!! He so likes her...

While I was 'away' from Sheezy I was practising my digital colouring skils and I think (THINK) I'm starting to get where I want to be. Although I only learnt how to do the hair like this today...

I really messed up Clyde. He was meant to be saying 'SONTAR...HA!' like he did in EP 2 but I forgot to add the text... silly me. Also there are spots of grey in the background...shite...

-- Summertime! It's our vacation! (whoops, make that spring)
Boo-yah! Spring Vacation has begun! And to kick-start my vacation I'll spend most of tomorrow asleep. No you did not read that incorrectly. I will be sleeping on my first day of holidays. Why? So I have the energy to move this vacation! I'm gonna shop till I drop, visit friends, go to totally awesome places and just have fun! This is gonna rock! It also means I have more time for my artwork so I'll hopefully be able to upload some more stuff.

Speaking of which...I was able to finish my Anakin Skywalker picture and it is now coloured, unfortunately the version with the background was deleted do you will have to settle with the one that doesn't have a background. I haven't done any digital colouring for a while so it doesn't look all that good, plus I can only do sketch line art but that's what makes my art so different! I like it, sometimes, but not in this picture. I really need to practice more.

I have some more stuff coming up and will hopefully update regularly and share my holiday adventures with you all.

Ps. Mum's in Thailand for another week or so I'll have plenty of time to use the computer. C:

New word for the day: enunciate, something to do with pronounciation. I wish teachers spoke english and not fancy adult speak.

Bah...I've been sick for almost a week now. I've missed three days of school plus a two day weekend, so that's a total of five days away from my best buddies. To date I have missed (that I know of)

Two exams; a maths test i had to do today and apparently a German Exam
Handing in my German assignments
doing a ONE DAY assignment in SOSE, which was, unfortunately, very important for our report cards AND is linked to our next assignment
HPE assessment, not that I care
painting my clay sculpture of the Gibble ( a creation of mine ) in art, very important
and not to forget, what to study for my next HPE exam, teacher will not tell me because I was supposed to be in school

Well sorry TEACH! I was extremely ill, could not move with out causing incredible pain, and not only that but couldn't breath. GAH! I only came today because I promised my best friend that I would come to school.

While we're on that subject; my friends (all of them too!) called me on friday. At school! Well they were, not me, but it was soooooooooo nice! Every single one of my friends was huddled around Genna's phone and was screaming stuff to me into it. I CRIED SO MUCH! I love my friends so very much. Today they were all over, I got many hugs i couldn't breathe. But noiw Stacey's sick, well she's still here, i hope she's gets better soon. And that i get better too. I wanna be healthy for Spring break next week! I don't even know what I'm gonna do! Watch movies I guess...draw and read too! Oh yeah. Hopefully next time i'll post my latest creation (picture really, I just like to talk weird). So see ya then.

School, it sucks (and Lupus Sketch)

School's tough. There's exams, assignments, hundreds of different teachers, and the pressure of trying to find a job afterwards. And parents wonder why we fail. Lately I've had teachers all over me trying to get me to put more effort in and study for next term's end of year exams and upcoming half semester exams, and my parents trying to get me to learn a language at home completely different to the one I have to learn at school. Sure I've learnt more in the two weeks of one than the 4 years of the other, but it all gets confusing. I'll be doing a speaking task in class and I'll accidentally say something like "milk" in the other language than the one I'm supposed to be speaking. I'm hopeless!

Pressure, it does things to you. Like make you forget your notes when you have a speech to present, or have a total freak out during an exam. Which happens to me a lot. Just like my last exam, had to re-do it because in the question "Why is the layout of the great pyramids like a maze?" I replied- "So the mummies can't find their way out!". I watch far too much TV. Which isn't good, for school anyway. I just hope I'm ready for our next maths exam, teacher won't tell us when it is and if I fail this I'll be in big strife.

I can't even remember the formula for the area of a circle! GAH!
